I am a 25-year old graduate of Rutgers University with a B.A. in psychology and philosophy. While pursuing my degree I played club baseball, intramural basketball, football and softball. I also regularly attended the Bhakti Yoga and Philosophy clubs.
After enlisting in the Army National Guard in 2002, I spent five years with the state’s personnel unit before transferring to the 444th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment. During my tenure in the military, I have travelled to Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Dubai and Germany.
Growing up in New Jersey allowed me to experience firsthand the litany of sports the tri-state area has to offer. Because of this, watching and playing sports as well as attending professional and semi-pro events has become the primary use of my free time.
I am a passionate fan of music and spend lots of time listening to, talking about and blogging about music. I regularly attend shows at small venues and occasionally go to large scale concerts.
My goal is to use my passion for journalism to show people that they should never be satisfied with what they are told. Question everything and dig deep.
